7. If a program does not meet you end goal in regards to income objectives, don't do it or look for another program.

Take note that I am not saying that you are to BLAME - only that you need to be accountable for where you are in life. If you don't take this important step, you will just continue to blame circumstances, events, other people, luck or fate for your lack of success. Your lack of accountability will continue to hold you back for the rest of your life. Decide NOW that you will turn this around.

Your beliefs are the building blocks of your life. The thing with beliefs is that they are absolutely TRUE for the person that believes it. If you believe that you can't create success on the internet, then you are right, you won't have success. You can CHOOSE the beliefs that you want to adopt. Don't choose beliefs based on if they are true or false. Choose beliefs that are RESOURCEFUL for you and what you want out of life.

Focus is the key ingredient to success. Luckily for all of us, we have complete control over what we focus our minds on (although most of us don't exercise this control on a consistent basis, me included). When you focus on something, you create pictures of that in your mind, and if you add emotion to this picture as well, your mind gets busy trying to create that for you (it doesn't matter if it's positive or negative, your mind will act on those pictures faithfully and try to create it for you). So if you consistently focus on creating a hugely successful internet business and add positive feelings, your mind will help you get it.

OK, let's move onto goals. What you need to do is spend the day deciding exactly what it is that you want for your life and your online home business. Get a pen and paper, sit down and write everything down in specific detail (even if some things seem ludicrous and out of reach). Now refine all of this into a goal statement and read this out ALOUD every day, at least twice a day. Visualize having all the things on your goal statement, add positive emotion to it and really get excited about it. This is how the human brain and mind operates and this is how successful people do it.

Finally, take action, keep taking action, refine those actions and take more action until you reach your goals. Taking action brings out a power from you that you don't realize you have. Taking action allows you to refine and improve as you go. It's always better to take some action (even if it's wrong) than to stand still. At least you can get on with the job of making it better.

Make the commitment to changing your life. Be one of the 5% of people that make it big in Internet Marketing. And focus on the 5% that make it, not on the 95% that don't. Keep in mind that practising the above tips for 30 minutes per day and then doing the opposite for the other 16 waking hours will sabotage your efforts, so consistency is the key. Never underestimate the power of YOUR thoughts. They can make or break your success.

My cell phone broke last night. So I found myself spending Saturday evening with what seemed to be half the town at the cell phone store. What I encountered there was a surprisingly hostile crowd. I overheard complaints about repair prices and wait times, witnessed arguing among customers about who should be standing where, and found myself inconveniently placed next to a man who was demanding to see camera footage to show he hadn't been in the store at an earlier time.

There was nothing especially unpleasant about my visit to the store. I had to wait longer than was desirable, but the store appeared to be completely staffed and running as efficiently as possible. The sales associate that helped me was knowledgeable and pleasant. Yet, as I continued to experience the discontent around me, and as another customer attempted to engage me in unhappiness, I found myself getting impatient and irritated like the other customers.

I couldn't figure out any basis for my change in attitude. Undoubtedly, the hostility of the atmosphere was sucking me in. Because my work on personal values development made me conscious of it, I was able to pull myself up and maintain a pleasant and positive mental attitude. But truly, it was work.

Writing an affirmation begins with having a clear goal in mind. Write the goal on paper. For example, I will earn a five figure income in thirty days. Feel free to list as many goals as you have or concentrate on just a few. Then write the goal in the present. I am now earning a five figure income in thirty days. Now that you have worded your goal as something that is currently happening you are beginning to attract the very thing that you desire.

Writing affirmations will help you visualize yourself reaching your goals. Affirmations will also help you maintain a positive mental attitude because your focus will be on the things you desire to attract into your life, instead of on the lack in your life. Keep a positive mental attitude and goals stated as believable affirmations as you consider opportunities and start a home based business. You will find that you have paved a pathway to success.

Starting a Home Business with a Full Time Job

I get a lot of questions from people asking me how they can start a business at home, if they have a full time job also. With 8-15 hours on the average away from home time, spent at a full time job; it can be very difficult to fit a home business into your daily schedule. If you want to have that home business & bring in extra dough, you have to make adjustments to your daily routine. If you get home from work or the gym at the end of the day, you may not want to work at home. That's fine. What time do you usually get up in the morning, 6-7-8am? If you get up at 8am, make an adjustment into your lifestyle so you start waking up at 6am instead. Wake up early and work at home in the morning. If having some extra money coming into the household means that much, the adjustment will be easy. Put a simple 2 hours into your business everyday before you go out that door in the morning. Two hours a day doesn't sound like a lot, but it adds up over time. It's more than enough to get you going part time. Doing it everyday will make it a routine so you don't forget anything. When things get easier for you and you learn the tricks of the trade, you can take on more.

Or you may be willing to work at home at the end of your long day. This is how I started. Some people don't like to work at home, after a long day at your full time job. But I found it so much easier. I gave myself 2-5 hours a day without a problem after my 8 hour a day job. I didn't have kids as I know this can be a problem. But on a positive note; I have helped plenty of moms who only worked 2 hours a day at home to start. Two hours a day is that magic number, when you can get just enough accomplished at your new part time home business. When your home business gets going and you move on to a full time home business; be ready to work 8-18 hour days. But the rewards are well worth it.

Everyone wants to quit their day job and work at home. It's a lot of work, but I would rather work at home than report to some job I hope I don't lose. Job security is a huge factor nowadays. There was a time when you could work at a place all your life and retire there. Not anymore. There are always huge layoffs and the unemployment rate has skyrocketed. It finally came out publicly that we may be in a recession. I just have to laugh at this. That's another story though. That being said, people like to have a backup plan in case they ever lose their job. It's a normal survival trait to always make sure there is food on the table. All though starting and running a business is very easy once you get used to things. It's a LOT of work to have a successful home business. Yes, you get to stay home in your skibbies. You can take a break whenever you want. But you can never slack on your home business. Keep at it everyday.

Make a life changing choice and dedicate 2 hours a day, everyday (if you can do more great) into your new home business. Even if you only do research for few weeks. As long as you get the ball rolling there is no stopping you. Don't rely on that full time job anymore.
