Scammed No More!!!
Making money at home is a very real possibility, but unfortunately, many of us have been conned, scammed, and outright lied to to the point that we're afraid to try another home based business opportunity.
There are some common sense rules to follow that will save you alot of heartache and disappointment and help you to keep your money where it belongs.
Rule#1 Check the contact info. on the bottom of the web-site. Is there a P.O. Box #? If so, you may want to try another site. Is there a phone number? If so, call the number. Are you talking to a real person? If not leave a message and see how long it takes to get a response. If you don't get a call back in 24 to 48 hours -- it may be a scam.
Rule#2 Due Diligence. Google the site and see what kind of information exists on the site. Of course, there is always negative info on any site, but if you find all negative and no positive feedback on a site, that could be a bad sign.
Rule#3 This is a hard one. Be Patient. Most opportunities (real or scam) play on your emotions in the moment. Don't make a solely emotional decision on a business opportunity. Wait 24 hours so you can do due diligence. Then decide with your head and your heart.

Make Money From Home - Key Factors to Success
Regardless of the path you take to make money from home, the first and most important task that you need to consider is preparing your mind. The surest recipe for failure of a business is to be uncertain about the goals and plans that you have. While occasionally a person will strike it lucky going into a business venture with no pre-planning, it is usually just sheer luck that allows that to happen. Make sure through honest assessment that you are the type of person who can look at the big picture, focus on the goal and that you have the persistence to slog through the slow times.
Be certain of your goals
If you choose the goals you want to reach, make certain that you state them clearly and that you are able to define the true goals. For example, if your goal is to own your own business, that's a wonderful goal, unless your real aim is to have lots of free time to spend with your family. The two goals may not be synonymous. The first step then in planning your future in order to make money from home is to determine if that is your true goal. Do some deep down assessment about what you really want in life and set your goals accordingly.
Define your path
Once you are positive that your goal is defined, you can begin the process of defining the path that you must take to achieve your goals. For those who want to make money from home by starting a business, this path will be different than the path for a person who wants to achieve income through helping others in a service oriented business. The key is to set mileposts along the path to the goal you have identified. In some instances, you will need to set up a signpost for yourself so that you will know if you are still on the right track.
Identify potential roadblocks
There is no roadblock in the path to make money from home so significant as the one you haven't planned for. When you are preparing your goals and defining your path, be sure to spend some time thinking about potential problems that might arise and how you will solve the problems. For example, have you planned for a dramatic increase in your product cost? How about if you have a hard drive crash on your work computer? Anything that you can plan for ahead of time will be one less thing that can bring your new home based business to a standstill.
What's next?
As you move toward your goal to make money from home, you need to review the goals you have set and set new ones as they appear on the horizon. Perhaps you want to increase your volume of sales. You may want to add additional product lines. You may want to consider adding employees. All of these goals can be identified and directed as you move toward fulfillment of the previous goals.

The Right Mindset Leads to a Successful Home Based Business
Having the right mindset will allow you to be successful in many areas of your life, but it is crucial to the success of a home based business. You must maintain a positive mental attitude at all times and understand how the Law of Attraction can work for you or against you. When you start a home based business all responsibility lies within you. There is no room for excuses.
The right mindset starts with a positive mental attitude. Do you see the glass half empty or half full? If you see the glass half full then chances are you are an optimistic person. If you see the glass half empty then your mindset most likely tends toward the negative. Negativity usually stems from a lack of confidence or self esteem. Negative people don't believe in themselves and often feel or say 'nothing works out for me!' Does this sound like something you have said recently?
The Law of Attraction is based on the premise that what you think about comes about. When you think about things that you desire you send a vibration out into the universe like a radio transmitter and set into motion the actions that must happen in order for you to receive what you desire.
For example, if you think about money flowing easily into your business you will find that windows of opportunity seem to magically open and money flows easily in. On the other hand, if you think your business is not making enough money, you will find that sales are slow and you have to make every dollar stretch. The trick is even in times when sales may be slow to keep your focus on the abundance of money flowing in. Visualize the feeling it would give you if money were flowing easily in. Feels good doesn't it? Soon you will be consumed with solutions to your problem of slow sales because you are thinking about what you want instead of what you don't want. Focus on the solution, not the problem. You have to exercise your mind to consciously think positively about what you want, seems simple but is easier said than done.
One exercise I put into practice that has had a tremendous positive effect on my mental attitude and subsequently in my home based business is writing affirmations. Writing an affirmation begins with having a clear goal in mind. Write the goal on paper. For example, I will earn a five figure income in thirty days. Feel free to list as many goals as you have or concentrate on just a few. Then write the goal in the present. I am now earning a five figure income in thirty days. Now that you have worded your goal as something that is currently happening you are beginning to attract the very thing that you desire.
Writing affirmations will help you visualize yourself reaching your goals. Affirmations will also help you maintain a positive mental attitude because your focus will be on the things you desire to attract into your life, instead of on the lack in your life. Keep a positive mental attitude and goals stated as believable affirmations as you consider opportunities and start a home based business. You will find that you have paved a pathway to success.

Starting a Home Business with a Full Time Job
I get a lot of questions from people asking me how they can start a business at home, if they have a full time job also. With 8-15 hours on the average away from home time, spent at a full time job; it can be very difficult to fit a home business into your daily schedule. If you want to have that home business & bring in extra dough, you have to make adjustments to your daily routine. If you get home from work or the gym at the end of the day, you may not want to work at home. That's fine. What time do you usually get up in the morning, 6-7-8am? If you get up at 8am, make an adjustment into your lifestyle so you start waking up at 6am instead. Wake up early and work at home in the morning. If having some extra money coming into the household means that much, the adjustment will be easy. Put a simple 2 hours into your business everyday before you go out that door in the morning. Two hours a day doesn't sound like a lot, but it adds up over time. It's more than enough to get you going part time. Doing it everyday will make it a routine so you don't forget anything. When things get easier for you and you learn the tricks of the trade, you can take on more.
Or you may be willing to work at home at the end of your long day. This is how I started. Some people don't like to work at home, after a long day at your full time job. But I found it so much easier. I gave myself 2-5 hours a day without a problem after my 8 hour a day job. I didn't have kids as I know this can be a problem. But on a positive note; I have helped plenty of moms who only worked 2 hours a day at home to start. Two hours a day is that magic number, when you can get just enough accomplished at your new part time home business. When your home business gets going and you move on to a full time home business; be ready to work 8-18 hour days. But the rewards are well worth it.
Everyone wants to quit their day job and work at home. It's a lot of work, but I would rather work at home than report to some job I hope I don't lose. Job security is a huge factor nowadays. There was a time when you could work at a place all your life and retire there. Not anymore. There are always huge layoffs and the unemployment rate has skyrocketed. It finally came out publicly that we may be in a recession. I just have to laugh at this. That's another story though. That being said, people like to have a backup plan in case they ever lose their job. It's a normal survival trait to always make sure there is food on the table. Most people just don't know where to go to get good information on starting a home business.
All though starting and running a business is very easy once you get used to things. It's a LOT of work to have a successful home business. Yes, you get to stay home in your skibbies. You can take a break whenever you want. But you can never slack on your home business. Keep at it everyday.
Make a life changing choice and dedicate 2 hours a day, everyday (if you can do more great) into your new home business. Even if you only do research for few weeks. As long as you get the ball rolling there is no stopping you. Don't rely on that full time job anymore. Start your home business now and secure your families financial situation for now and the future. Your job may not be there for you tomorrow. But your home business will be there as long as you want it to be there.. Start your home business today and don't give up!
